How To: Add a Shipping Method
1. In your admin panel Go to Settings→ Shipping methods.
2. Click the + button in the upper right part of the page to add a new shipping method.
3. Configure the Shipping Method Properties. (see Below Shipping Method Properties for details)
4. Click the Create button.
How To: Set Up a Manual Shipping Method
To set up a manual shipping method with user pre-determined rates depending on a rate area:
1. In admin panel Click on Settings → Shipping methods page.
2. Click the + button in the upper-right corner to add a new shipping method, or choose one of the existing methods to configure it.
3. On the General tab set the Rate calculation of this method to any variant of Manual (by rate areas).
4. Go to the Shipping time and rates tab.
5. Decide where your shipping method will be offered. To do this, choose rate areas from the dropdown list. If there is a rate area in the store which you did not include in the shipping method, orders will not be delivered in this area.
If a certain rate area does not exist in your store, email admin@dezarte.com to add this for you
6. (optional) Specify the Shipping time value for each rate area. If a rate area has its own shipping time, it will be displayed to customers from this area instead of the Delivery time from the General tab.
7. Specify the Rate for each rate area. If you leave the Rate field empty (equal to zero by default), the delivery will be free.
8. Add different conditions for each rate area. There are three types of conditions:
- Price Condition — the surcharge/discount depends on the total order amount.
- Weight Condition— the surcharge/discount depends on the weight of products in the order.
- Item Condition— the surcharge/discount depends on the number of products in the order.
The rates within each section are not summed up. Let’s use Price condition as an example:
Let’s say if the order cost is greater than $0.00, then the Surcharge / Discount is $20.00. If the order cost is greater than $50.00, then the Surcharge/Discount value increases to $30.00. In this case, after specifying the condition From $50.00, you need to enter $30.00 (not $10.00) in the Surcharge / Discount field.
9. Click Save.
How To: Set up Realtime Shipping Method using Australia Post
Step 1. Create a Shipping Method
1.1. In the Admin panel, go to Shipping → Shipping methods.
1.2. Create a new shipping method or click the name of an existing shipping method.
1.3. Set Rate calculation to Realtime.
1.4. Set Carrier to Australia Post.
1.5. Choose the desired Shipping service.
1.6. Configure other general settings as you see fit.
Make sure to set the Status to Active, or the shipping method won’t appear at checkout.
Step 2. Configure the Shipping Method
2.1. (optional) Switch to the Shipping charges tab and define shipping charges. These charges will be added to the ones calculated by Australia Post.
2.2. Switch to the Configure tab.
If you don’t see any tabs, then the shipping method probably hasn’t been created yet. Click Create, and the tabs should appear.
2.3. Enter your PAC API key.
PAC stands for Postage Assessment Calculator. Get PAC from Australia Post.
2.4. Specify the dimensions of the package:
· Package width (cm)
· Package height (cm)
· Package length (cm)

Step 3. Test Your Shipping Method
3.1. Once you’ve configured the shipping method, click Save.
3.2. Return to the General tab.
3.3. Click Calculate shipping cost link.
3.4. Enter the desired value into the Weight (lbs) input field, and click the Test button to make a test calculation of shipping charges.
About Shipping time and rates
You need to decide where your shipping method will be offered. To do this, choose the rate areas from the dropdown list. If there is a rate area in the store which you did not include in the shipping method, orders will not be delivered in this area.

If you receive rates from a shipping service provider in real time, the charges from this section will be simply added to the received rates. You can use this to compensate for your actual expenses if they exceed the values returned by the carrier (e.g., packing, insurance, etc.)
You can specify price, weight or items conditions for each rate area. Once you’re done specifying them, click Save.
· From—the minimum value starting from which the specified surcharge/discount is applied.
· To—the maximum value up to which the specified surcharge/discount is applied.
· Surcharge / discount — the amount of money that will be added to the base Rate or reduced from it. To make a discount just add the “-” (minus) sign to the entered value.
If you do not specify the Rate value or any price/weight/items conditions for the rate areas you have added, delivery to those rate areas will be free.
