Wood Wick Candle Care:
-It may take a few goes to light your wood wick candle. Ensure the whole wick is alight before moving the lighter, this may take up to 10 seconds.
- To prevent tunneling, the first time you light your candle, allow the wax to melt to the edge of the jar.
- Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Trim wick before every use. Keep your wood wick nice and short. Trimming will help your candle stay alight, burn evenly and prevent smoking and sooting. Trim your wood wick with wick trimmers or a nail clipper. Ensure you trim all the charcoal off your wick before lighting.
- Keep your burn pool clean of debris or charcoal.
- Keep out of reach of children or pets and always burn your candle on a heatproof, stable surface clear of draughts.
